In plain language: what we collect, why, and how to ask us to delete it.

What we collect
When you send the contact form: your name, business name, email, phone, the service you are interested in, and your message. Only the fields you type.
When you browse the site: Google Analytics records page views, device type, browser, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you arrived. It uses cookies.
When you use live chat: tawk.to records and stores the conversation, along with the page you were on and technical details about your browser.
The same chat runs on our product site, locator.handledlocal.com, and reaches the same inbox. That site has its own privacy policy covering everything else it collects: locator.handledlocal.com/privacy.
Why
Form data exists so we can reply to you and put a quote together. That is all it is for.
Analytics exists so we know which pages earn their place and which do not. We do not build profiles of individuals or run targeted advertising off this data.
Chat exists so we can answer a question while you are still on the site.
Who it is shared with
Google (Analytics), tawk.to (live chat), Resend (which delivers the contact form email), and Vercel (hosting, which keeps server logs). Each processes data under its own policy.
We do not sell your data. We do not trade or share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Contact form emails stay in our inbox until we delete them. Chat transcripts stay with tawk.to. Analytics follows the retention period set in Google Analytics.
Your choices
You can decline chat when the consent notice appears. The site works the same either way.
You can block analytics cookies through your browser settings or an extension.
You can email hello@handledlocal.com to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or to have it deleted. We will answer.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes and so does the date above.
